BBC - The Sky at Night
In 2024 BBC Scotland once again asked High Viz Media Group to support The Sky At Night Question Time Special. This year the show was recorded alongside the British Science Festival at the University of East London’s Stratford Campus.

Our onsite team project managed the recording, creating the set and staging as well as running technical services. Due to the space restrictions on site at the campus we used our Little Pod to support production, offering a full gallery outside of the University’s main building and making the best use of the space at this unique venue.

It was a real pleasure to work with the Sky At Night team for our second successive year, continuing the legacy of delivering the BBC’s longest running television show. The Question Time Special brings the BBC’s iconic astronomy series into live event mode, filmed before a studio audience and broadcast in one-hour format.

The edition aired in October 2024 on BBC Four, featuring a panel including Maggie Aderin-Pocock, Chris Lintott, George Dransfield and guest experts responding to audience and viewer questions. The special was praised for deepening public engagement with space science by combining expert insight with direct interaction... a standout among live-science formats.
