PlayStation XP
PlayStation set out to bring competitive gaming fans and Creators together in a unique, team based competition. Styled as a game show, four teams competed across TEKKEN 8, EAFC, Fortnite and Astro Bot, earning points for their teams - all live from the Royal Horticultural Halls in London.
Working in partnership with Dexerto, High Viz Media Group delivered the six hour broadcast on PlayStation’s main Twitch and YouTube channels. At the core of the production was our Ross Ultrix FR5, powering dynamically routable outputs to streaming stations, embedding audio to endpoints, and providing multiviews with tally for the gallery.
Each team captain had their own dedicated camera operator, enabling us to run four additional concurrent broadcasts on their personal channels, alongside the main PlayStation streams - six live feeds in total, generating over one million views.
With all tournament matches played on PlayStation 5 consoles, the wider show environment was designed to feel dynamic and immersive. With dedicated cameras for each captain, we created an F1-style ‘Grid Walk’ experience, capturing multiple angles within a full 360-degree set.
